This is fitness without the gym culture. Classes combine mobility, strength, balance, conditioning and practical movement in a friendly, small-town setting.

Whether you are 25 or 75, the goal is the same: move easier, stay useful and keep doing what matters to you.

Every class is full-body and beginner-friendly. The name tells you the style, but nobody has to arrive already fit, flexible or coordinated.

Full-body mobility, flexibility, balance, core strength and body control for people who want less stiffness and more freedom of movement. Practical movement, not a traditional yoga class.

BEATS

Simple rhythmic movement, cardio and coordination without complicated choreography. No dance experience, performance pressure or fancy footwork required.

BALANCE

Practical leg strength, stability, posture and coordination for stairs, uneven ground, chores and getting up and down with confidence. Chairs and household items are used when helpful.

FORGE

Squats, hinges, carries, hills, hiking, rucking and full-body strength that makes work, hunting, recreation and life outdoors easier. Start with bodyweight and build gradually.

Some people move more confidently when the class is designed around their stage of life or gives them a little more privacy.

Women onlyAge 21+

Women’s Flow

A private, no-pressure full-body class for women who want to build strength, mobility, balance and confidence without a gym atmosphere. Standing, chair and floor choices are offered throughout.

Senior onlyAge 55+

Balance 55+

A slower-paced, practical class for older adults focused on leg strength, steadiness, posture, carrying, stairs, floor confidence and staying independent. No one is expected to get on the floor.

Four-week founding pilot

Help us build movement classes for Modoc County.

The first four weeks will test class times, locations and formats before the long-term schedule is set. Anyone from Modoc County is welcome to register for the class that fits them.

FREEfirst class for new participants

Then choose a $10 drop-in, $35 four-class pass or $60 eight-class pass. The monthly Cedar Creek hike is included with an active class pass.

Come as you are.No gym experience, flexibility or fitness background is needed.
Use what you have.Classes may use chairs, towels, backpacks, water jugs and other ordinary household items.
Choose your option.Standing, supported, seated and floor versions are offered when appropriate.
Locations follow demand.Classes can be scheduled where enough Modoc County participants register.
